Tantalising Tallinn

What an Estonian Gem...

But before we get there, we have to get there, so we have a few stops on our way:

In the North East, we find the delightful village of Kämsu.

Monument to lost ships at Kämsu..
 Here ..
An intriguing early musical machine at Paimse Manor museum:

Before we get to our Tallinn camp, I have to pick up 10 litres of AdBlu from a garage pump in a container as the Touareg needs a top up; that means everything out of the boot and a 20 minute slow fill when we eventually arrive; The Treg's Achilles Heal. @##@ nuisance.
After that I spend an hour or so sorting the dodgy wiring on our replaced back panel on the 'van. Time for bed.

Tallinn

After a night's rest, we have a guided tour in the morning, a group lunch, followed by an afternoon exploring the old town ourselves.

Returning again to Estonia, we're again reminded how successful this small country has been in moving on from its Soviet past, despite the small matter of the world financial crash. Education standards are up there with the very best in the world; there are certainly lessons to be learned here, although there are some signs of popularism making themselves felt in the largely Liberal government. There are strong links to Finland, supporting this transition.

More coming.....
